<div></div> I have been working (still working) on a special project. The image below was not only an HDR image, but an 8 image panoramic stitch. Each segment was 3-5 bracketed images to make an HDR segment. I shot the images with a Phase One 45+ back (39 mega pixels). Working in 8 bit tiff, each file is 112mb. Once the stitch was complete, the final file is at 1.55 Gb. At 150 ppi, the image would be 4' x 22'.<br><br> I want to go back and smooth the discrepancy in the sky some more, but I thought I would share this HDR on Steroids.<br><br>http://web.mac.com/paulstocum/iWeb/Site/HDR_files/Rio%20Panoramic%20web.jpg<br><div></div>

That's amazing! So ambitious, but so worth it:) I'd love to see it full size....I'm sure the small image doesn't do it justice at all!<br><div></div>

Thanks for the comments. To see this image full size in print form, first destination for this print will be a 2 meter x 7 meter print in Germany. Or come to Las Vegas! I'm trying to sort what prints must come down in my office to accomodate a 2' x 10' print. <br><div></div>

<div></div> Here is a shot done the same night after the first shot above. The first shot was taken from the Rio (the red/blue building in the upper right corner of the second shot). The shot below was taken from the Stratosphere (Behind the Trump tower in the first shot). Pretty much the same specs and process as the first image.<br><br>Canonist, I'll try on Monday to upload a close up of one segment, to give you an idea of the resolution.<br><br>http://web.mac.com/paulstocum/iWeb/Site/HDR_files/Strat-Panoweb.jpg<br><div></div><br><br>Message Edited by zuhl on <span class="date_text">11-16-2007</span> <span class="time_text">05:56 PM</span>
