I'm perfectly happy with my scanner, a low end UMAX 3400. So far, I haven't had a problem with it... except for the fact that I cannot scan slides with it. I never thought I'd get into slides when I started with photography, and that's why I didn't bother looking any further. <BR>

Is there something like a transparency adapter for this model? Is it true that there is something called Universal Transparency Cover? However lowly my scanner, I'm not a pro, and the only reason I'd scan slides is to make them into cards or post them in the web. <BR>
