digital unfair

In the March 2002 letters page 11, the editors of Pop Photo state that many of us feel it's "unfair" to have to compete against digital photography. I am one of them. I don't mind using a digital camera to ''''capture light'''', after all that's what film does. What I object to is someone sitting at a computer and CREATING an image without ever having used a camera. It may be art, but it certainly is not a photograph. Until the editors even out the playing field (maybe a seperate digital magazine) I am letting my subscription end.<BR>
