Due to the fact that Pop Photo costs about Rs 500/- per issue it is understandable why it doesnt sell off the magazine racks in large numbers in Pakistan. So I subscribed in Jun/July 2001 but alas only received one issue the Nov2001. I wrote to POP repeatedly but didnt get any positive response. SO final equation: off the bookstall rack it would have cost me 500 but I paid Rs 2800/- for one issue! And that too 4 months late! and that too I got a few ulcers with all the frustration involved! Please do something POP photo, your fans in Pakistan are dying slowly.
P.S. how is the situation in Elbonia? Or is that the fourth world?

We are probably 5th world tahawarali ! Right ahead of Texas in the US. On a serious note, I hope that you get some positive feed back from Mason . I think that they will do the best that they can to accommodate you. One of the great things about this board is that it brings photographers from all over the World together to discuss our common passion for photography. We need more ways for people from cultures as radically different as yours and mine to explore our similarities together. Perhaps we are not as different from each other as we think
PS I appreciate your sense of humor.

Its not all bad out here. We actually have a thriving second hand book market here and you can find the odd photo magazine as well. The real treasure in fact, is the horde of photo technique books I routinely purchase at $3 to $4, which actually cost $30 to $40 in the US! So I guess that evens things up...... Plus the dirt cheap second hand lens market, which becomes embarrasingly cheap if you are into Manual Canon or Minolta. I recently purchased a 300mmFD lens for about $40 and I saw it advertised in a British mag for 149Pounds in a British mag, but then everything costs more in the UK.....
