Am curious to know if Photosbyjulie has ever been able to be able to log on. 
 
Also, where is Viper? He used to be a pretty regular poster and also was one who gave good advice.

Thanks for asking. I'm alive and well and recovering from photo sensory overload. Just spent 3 weeks in Wyoming and South Dakota with a bunch of new gear. I'm now slogging through the 100 rolls of slides I shot and trying to figure how to practice optometry in Houston four weeks a year and spend the rest shooting pictures in drop dead gorgeous locales instead of the other way around. Sigh. /ibb/skins/default/emoticons/frown.gif Oh well, I had a great trip, got some terrific landscape and wildlife shots, and am thoroughly jazzed about learning how to set up a web site and printing my own stuff on our new computer. God is good. I thank Him for the blessing overload every day. ><>

Ahhh...very nice. I feel your pain. I often disappear for weeks at a time and come back with more slides than I care to mess with! I usually end up hanging around here instead of editing or labeling or whatever else I should be doing. Nice to hear from you though.

Thanks, but I have been striking, mainly in the CAFE area and particularly "MAC VS PC", although I will not be returning to that particular thread for obvious reasons. 
 
I have been out for a few day's at time. I've had a ton of photos to process and scan into the computer. Graduations, church and so forth. I have not been getting to bed till around 4 a.m. 
 
I may be limiting myself a bit in the future, though. This board just became offensive (nothing to do with the board itself or Pop Photo)and I may be brousing but not posting. 
 
But thanks for the word. It's appreciated.

My guess is that many people are on vacation and hopefully taking lots of new photos (to share on the Reader Forum, of course)! Summer vacation time, y'know...

Not that I was missed or anything, but I too had to dissapear for quite a while. Since the birth of my son, I've not had a lot of time to post and keep up the conversation, so I just stop in and visit from time to time. I do plan to post some more in the future. I like the new gallery addition, what a great idea!

Hi! I am here, from time to time. Mostly reading, rarely posting. My business is mostly slow with big increases from time to time- mostly when I have NO time. I am taking classes at the local college, learning more about journalism. I miss having more time- sigh- the main reason I just can't get on here. I told myself a couple months ago I had to trim down my online time... otherwise I would never take any pictures. That's what's going on here. Julie- how did your classes go? Hey Daniel! Hey everyone! Thanks for missing me, I miss the companionship and the friends I conversed with. Thanks again.

Didn't you hear? The population is 12 now, since the ugly sister nobody liked left the country. That freed up a lot of bandwith, because she spent all her time on the dating pages!!! /ibb/skins/default/emoticons/rolleyes.gif

How I wish I was on vacation Mason...My mother fell ill and passed away suddenly and I've been having to take care of her affairs... 
 
One of the brightest parts of going through all of her personal items has been the discovery of tons of photos of our childhood and her whole life. Those photos have been keeping me going through this process, along with the greatest girlfriend in the world. I'll be back again in a few more weeks...
