<div></div><div><font size="2">Yesterday I took three empty Epson ink tanks to Office Max. They used to give a $3 credit for the empty tanks. I was told Epson no longer cooperates in this program so they can no longer give the credit. They still give credit for HP, Canon and Lexmark. I left without buying more ink tanks. I can buy them locally for the same price, and I have some postage free recycle mailers. So there goes another freeby!</font></div><div><font size="2"></font> </div><div><font size="2">Toronado</font></div>

<div>Tornado</div><div> </div><div>I too take my empties to Office Max for my Canon printer (luv it). But I found out which inks I need the most and just buy them for a couple times. These are mainly Photo Cyan and Photo Magenta. However the last time I needed ink I ordered from B&amp;H a complete set for my printer (I only had two left from the backup set I got when purchasing the printer) and 2 extras of both CM and CP for a total of 12 ink cartridges. Counting shipping costs I saved about $1.25 per cartridge over what it would have cost me with a return of 12 empties and then added on sales tax. The shipping was for 3 days but I ordered before I had to have anything.</div><div> </div><div>Lynn</div>

<div>It is interesting that Ofice Max told you that the manufacturer was the one driving this program. I went to Staples recently, and they now only give the $3.00 discount for HP and Epson. When I asked why they had removed other manufacturers from the program, the person at the store stated that Staples only wanted cartridges from the most popular brands of printers since <u>they</u> were refilling them and selling them over again as Staples brand ink.</div>
