I am a complete amature and have only been shooting for about 1 1/2 yrs with a Sony A330. So here are some I would like some input on. No editing or corrections were made in any programs I like natural pictures. Thats probably becasue I have no skills using any programs yet and its more of a hassel. Thanks.

some good ones but too much variety for a thorough critique.
Did you perhaps mean to put them in sharing?
one running problem though is tilted horizons.

Hey DRH, he DID put them in "Sharing". Sharing has four separate forums. Perhaps you were thinking he should have put them in Reader Gallery???

#1: Compositionally I think it might be better not to cut off the top and bottom of the engines, but I'm not sure about that. I think it could benefit from a little more depth of focus. I don't see a compositional reason to have the near side of the near engine slightly soft.
#2: This is a good picture of the bird, a way you could make it better would be to work on the background. The background provides context but it has a mass of detail which is not important and is a distraction from the foreground which is less busy. You can still provide context by shooting at a wider aperture to produce less depth of focus, enough so that you can still make out what the background is, but so that it is much simpler. Of course not everyone owns a lens that can do this adequately.
#3: My preference for the night sky is to either see no star trails or long star trails and to have no movement in the foreground. It looks like the breeze may have been working against you on this one.
Overall there is nothing major to complain about. I've tried only to give some ideas on how they could have been better out of the camera.
