Very cute picture. I only wish that his face was as sharp as the top of his shorts. I wonder if this lack of sharpness is due to your importing it into the forum? I've had troubles with sharpness when I've posted from Flickr.

It looks like some selective blur was added and was a little sloppy near his head.

The selective blur in this case I think hurts the image, if you don't have what you need to have a shallow DOF, just let it be in this case and we can simply enjoy a festive summer scene (which is still 3 months away for me)
