This picture was taken early in the morning in Paris last spring. Their was a dense smog at the top of the Eiffel Tower and I thought it may create a unique photo of a well known landmark.
Comments appreciated
Wow, that's a really cool photo. However, you should really crop out that statue, or building, or whatever that is showing up on the right. It's far too distracting.
Thanks for the comment. I personally like the way it frames the picture, and how it adds something that isn't normally pictured with this particular element. I guess its just my opinion, but I'm thankful to get any others that I can as I am trying to get to my best work possible .

I guess that if Paris did not have the Eiffel tower there would not be anything to shoot there, right?
Great shot. This is great IMO they way it is.
I like this a lot. I like the way the statues on the right "observe" the humans. There's another interesting detail: there's a group of three girls on the left, they harmonize perfectly with the three statues. Pity about the rest of the people who get in the way of this subtlty!
The leaning building gives the right sense of perspective that this was shot upwards. Good job!
I'd lose the stuff on the right, too. It adds nothing to the picture--which is nice without it.
I really like this shot too. I tend to agree with the removal of the street light, or whatever it is on the right. I understand about it framing the tower, but it just seems to compete with the tower for my attention. If it was a night shot, and if it is a light, that might be a different story
I'd either crop the far right or make a contrasting color border to frame this. It's still a nice shot of the Eiffel tower and different from the usual views one sees. Did you get any shots of the statues on the right? I don't think I've ever seen photos of them before.
Best,
Andy
it's beautiful...
