    Canon Eos Elan 7n

I just heard on canon's website that they have stopped the elan7 and went to the 7n/7ne. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 7 and the 7n.

    Thanks

It's pretty easy to compare the two at http://www.canoneos.com/

    - Backlit LCD

    - E-TTL II when used with EX speedlights. Incorporates focus distance in the exposure calc. with most - not all - EF lenses. See the list of compatible lenses in the brochure download.

    - Alleged improved AF speed (I doubt one would notice any difference from already fast Elan 7).

    - Minor cosmetic changes to the body surface and control dials.

As Lemming has stated the improvement in in the flash technology. This seems to mimick what Nikon does and I believe this is a step in the right direction. This should be a fantastic performing camera.
