Killer Heat

OK, the title is a bit dramatic, but I think the dried mud, dead bush and sand dunes in this image do a nice job of illustrating the intense heat of a Death Valley summer. What do you think?

This is very nice. The lines and texture is wonderful. It does look HOT. we are lucky in Juneau if we hit 80* all summer long.

Good colors. The bush in the foreground with the dried, cracked earth certainly gets the dryness across if not the heat. The sky looks a little too cool-blue to tip off how extremely hot it probably was. Excellent shot.
