This is in no way meant to be a pejorative comparison, but I am struck by the number of quality British mags that are on the shelves of Borders and Barnes & Noble. They all seem to contain as much editorial material, color reproduction, equipment tests and of course ads as Pop Photo. Also at least one of them is a weekly! Could you comment on how so comparatively small a market can support these publications vs the 3 major monthlies we have here? Thanks. (Perhaps this question belongs in a "business" forum)
pop photo has removed advertizers from its pages when complaints about a company are made. there is a protocol for this. what have your problems been? you say that they falsely advertize prices what exactly happened? where have you seen the bad reviews, who did them? some one has commented before about unregistered individuals making comments about retailers'various sins: why don't you sign your name to the post? if you wish to accuse some one or company, at least have the decency to be explicit in your charges and give your name so that others in the forum can contact you and perhaps help. making wild accusations without anything to back up your story is useless. are you a jealous competitor, or what?
i don't believe that i have seen a post about this company, good or bad, in this forum.

julie, why are you not able to log in? my comment was directed to the sleaze bag who doesnot log in or sign in a name. you may not be able to log in, but your name is familiar to posters in this forum. there is a big difference.

You know, I use to run a UBB for our old car club website. Who ever has access to the control panel of the bulletin board has the access to change your password and send you an e-mail telling you it is changed - then you can come back, log-in, then change your password to what ever you like again. Just e-mail the staff and see what they say about it.

If you think someone hates you, then they must LOVE me. When I get on this BB, I no longer even get the main Pop Photo screen. I'm dumped straight on the Forum page. You think that's service? Check this out. Many times, I'm already pre-logged in. I thought that maybe I was making a mistake and not logging out. Nope! I made SURE I logged out.
