Hello, depending on the version you have, Microsoft typically allows for 3 activations of their product key. If the key is not accepted, you'll have to call Microsoft and tell them you have uninstall the product from your old computer and wants to install the Office 2007 on your new Windows 7 computer.

A note on upgrading to Win 7. If your computer has XP on it you have to do a clean install. You can do just the upgrade if you have Vista on it.

From experience try and do a clean install of Windows 7 and then reload your Office Program with the key.
