I upgraded from 3.0 and am happy with its improvements, as stated it was a free upgrade if you have a previous version, there are several new presets which are fun to mess with and it seems to operate better on large files such as tiff files. Best of all though was it was a free upgrade

    Got it.
    New toy! New toy!

I do like it. The fun stuff works very well and I like the interface better than the older versions.

Lou, can you tell me where the free upgrade link is? I just bought the old version three weeks ago and I can only find links on their website for a new full version or a trial version.

    Thanks!

    Topaz Adjust 4 Free Upgrade

Notification: Free upgrade to Adjust 4 includes new presets, a new user interface, and algorithm enhancements.

Topaz Adjust, our most popular image enhancement tool, has been upgraded to v4 to include many new presets, the ability to handle larger images, a new user interface, faster noise reduction, and greater stability. It's completely free for existing Topaz Adjust customers. Download it here:
To install the upgrade, download the appropriate installer, run it, and follow the installation instructions. After installation is successful, restart your host program and "Topaz Adjust 4" will be there. You can then uninstall the older version of Topaz Adjust if you choose. Enjoy the upgrade!
We would like to give endless thanks to those who offered suggestions, feature requests, and bug reports on our software. Members of both the Topaz Flickr Group and our site forum were instrumental in helping us reach the final version of Adjust 4. This is part of the reason we are able to continue to offer completely free major upgrades from day one: our community spends valuable time supporting us in our efforts, so we are extremely happy to reciprocate. Thanks again.
If you like Topaz Adjust, you might also like one of our other photo plug-ins. Topaz DeNoise, for example, is a supercharged version of the noise reduction capabilities included in Topaz Adjust, and Topaz Detail offers similar detail enhancement and sharpening capabilities without any halos. Check them out here.
Finally, as part of a intro promotion surrounding the new release of Topaz Adjust 4, the coupon code NEWADJUST will not only save $10 off a new purchase of Topaz Adjust, but will also save 20% off of any bundle purchase or Adjust->Bundle upgrade. This coupon code will expire on March 15, 2010.
Enjoy the upgrade and have a great day!

    Best regards,
    Eric Yang

Just as a followup - I installed last night. I didn't have long to mess around with it since it was very late, but the program looks terrific!

Yes, I, too, like Topaz, but only when I use it pretty sparingly - that is, I find that I often have to dial back some of the effects to keep a shot from looking as though it had been Topazed. But, that's just me; others may like to really pump up the effects.

just to let everyone know, Topaz also has a forum, you can post shots there, of course there are alot of Topaz fans there and nobody frowns on its use either heavy OR subtle I have posted on there a few times, I go subtle most of the time but every now and then I like to KICK it up a notch Have fun with the upgrade, personally I like it better than 3.0 !!
