NCH photo slideshow software is also very nice. It is the one of the best and free software which also provide DVD slideshow GUI.

If you just want to output to YouTube, you can try our software AquaSoft Slideshow 7 for YouTube (http://www.aquasoft.net/SlideShowYouTube_en.as). It doesn't cost anything but it's limited to YouTube (doesn't allow to create a video file directly).
