Well I'm still taking these type of shots and wanted to share some more. So instead of creating a new thread I'll just post them here

I am glad you did continue the thread. I have no idea why I didn't comment before. Must have been speechless. Still cool shots,

These are really creative and very well done. Love the way you get the droplets to show as nearly full spheres. Must be pretty time consuming to lay all the droplets down. The results are worth it though. Water droplet reflections have been done for years, of course, in the field but this is definitely a unique (in my experience) take on it. I think there are probably some interesting commercial applications for the right product and campaign too.

thanks for the comments and yeah it does take some time to get everything right, The really crazy part is just how small the drops really are, you wouldn't think that object would show through. Also agree about the commercial use part

Yea very strange, I did do a write for DIYphoto a few months back on how these shots are done. Plus I've been post this shots all over the internet the last few weeks, maybe they saw them and put something together for their readers

Who knows. Just thought it was interesting. I like the idea of the spray bottle.

Yeah what I like to do is use a spray bottle then come back and place the larger drops over them
