Battle Of The Giants (Canon vs Nikon

I recently got to us a Nikon D3s while shooting in a dimly lite high school gym. The shots were amazing. I presently own a Canon 40D with several L lenses. Without changing to Nikon is there a Canon that matches up with the Nikon D3s? Any suggestions will be helpful.

I can't help you with Canon, but Canon and Nikon play leap frog with new models, so if there isn't a matching Canon now, there will be soon. Then there will be a Nikon to top that Canon and on and on it goes.

Nope. Nikon has the lead on low light/low noise. They have since the D3 came out several years ago.
