Exclamation Minolta Maxxum 7 ON/OFF switch

I'm posting this message in two different places because I just wasn't sure where to post it. More so, however, I am DESEPERATE.

I'm really in need of an on/off switch for my Maxxum 7. It was always my backup camera and I only ran about 7 or 8 rolls of film through it since I bought it back around 2003 or so. I want to sell the camera to acquire a musical instrument but a camera that can't be turned on is worthless --- and yet, otherwise, this camera is definitely in mint condition.

I have looked through Ebay with no luck. The local camera repair facility does not have the part and they told me, much to my surprise, that when Minolta sold its camera division to Sony, Minolta tossed all its spare parts. If that is true, well...stupid.

So, does anyone have a clue where I might find a switch (preferably on a camera being sold for parts or the switch alone)? Several months ago I was switching it out just to run it through its paces and the blasted switch broke off of the circuit board.

    Thanks for your time.
