    Inflorescence

A few years ago, while I was in Hawaii, I bought a book on Hawaiian flowers. Just about everything shown in the book was called an inflorescence, which I took to mean a group of flowers on a common stalk. Here is "Inflorescence 1". "Inflorescence 2" will follow when our small yellow orchid finishes blooming.

Really nice, Paul. I've been trying for months to get a more-than-decent shot of my set of orchids and I've gotten no where near as you have here. Good work.

Very nice lighting on this one. How did you do it?
The question is not what you look at, but what you see.

This is another HDR shot, Ron. The Photomatix setting was fusion natural. ISO 100, shutter 100, f/29, SB800 flash with small, inflatable, softbox. Black matboard used as a background. I painted out some leaves with the air brush tool.
