Default Niagara falls

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good place to take pictures of the Niagara falls on canadian side. Especially at night. I will be there this Sunday for 1 night.
Thanks,
Doug

It's a great place to take pictures. Bring a bag that's water resistant and bring a water resistant camera, a P&S or disposable will do. The Cave of the Winds and the Maid of the Mist Boat is a must. I was there with my family 27 years ago so a lot has probably changed. Google www.niagarafallstourism.com. It's full of all the information you'll need.

The 21st floor of the Marriott Hotel was pretty good for me...but as you can see from those pictures there's a pathway all along the gorge. It probably gets a bit crowded, so be careful if you plan on bringing a tripod.

The best views are from the Canadian side. There is a resturant right by the Falls, I forgot its name, and from the plaza around the resturant you'll have some wonderful views. If its a sunny day you should be treated to a rainbow that will last for hours lingering around the Falls.

24th floor of the Embassy Suites... Great for day/night and the fireworks....

The rainbows are incredible. Just watch for reflections in the glass from things behind you.....

If you should venture near the falls on the Canadian side, be aware of which way the wind is blowing. I was there last summer, and couldn't take photos near the edge because the wind was always blowing the very heavy mist all over the walking area. More like a constant light rain. Not the greatest when using a camera!

The Cave of the Winds and the Maid of the Mist Boa are the best possible places of interest...
