Please Review Large-Format Printers

I'm looking for what the best large-format printer is or printing photos (posters, banners, etc), but I have no idea what's good. I'd love to see a review in Pop Photo on these printers, especially some of the HP Designjets.

HP and Canon both make very good large format printers. The king of the hill in this realm is Epson; however. Their new 7900 and 9900 with the HDR inkset can't be beat. Combined with their Exhibition Fiber paper, I don't believe there's anything that can top them. Epson has the best print head technology, the best ink technology and the best selection of papers (along with the wide variety of third party papers).

Well, I agree with Bob's opinion about printers. I've owned HP, Canon, and Epson ink-jet printers and Epson's have been the most trouble-free and, perhaps more importantly, have delivered the best results. These printers all make good prints, but Epson, in my view, has the edge.
